Heavy Duty Dual relay Headlight Harness

The stock headlight wires on the KLR are not heavy enough to use brighter headlight bulbs. The TPI Dual Relay headlight harness comes complete to properly install a heavy duty H4 bulb. Kit guarantees 100% of the voltage and amperage reaches the headlight and even the stock 55/60 bulb will show an improvement. Power is drawn directly from the battery through a dual relay harness. Mandatory on the KLR. This is THE harness for brighter light! Works with any H-4 bulb up to 140 watts including the TPI Super Bright Low Beam bulb. Fits up to 07 KLR including Super Sherpa, DR, Harley Davidson etc. or any motorcycle using an H-4 bulb.

Heavy Duty Single Relay Headlight Harness

Same style harness as above except the single relay harness was designed specifically for the TPI Super Bright Low Beam Bulb #T6080. Harness triggers low beam only through a relay. Excellent for country roads, city traffic or areas where it is difficult to stay on high beam. When used with the TPI Super Bright Low bulb, your side vision is dramatically increased to help spot those pesky suicidal deer and animals. Harness does not affect high beam. As an added feature, in the event your relay fails you can still use the high beam. Not recommended for automotive bulbs with high wattage high beams. The IPF Super-Bright Low-Beam Bulb

Now issued by Canadian government on their Yukon utility vehicles! The new heavy duty vibration resistant IPF bulb is 80wt draw at low beam and 60wt draw at high beam. Wait, that's backwards! Read further....bulb has super white low beam that equals 190wt optical output. How many  times has your low beam been  too dim? Does this mean low beam is brighter? Yes, but remember your low and high beam have different shapes on  the road. Your high beam is  150wt optical output for long distance, much brighter than stock, but the low beam has a super white 190wt optical output low and wide on the road. Big safety factor here! Believe me, the older you get the more you need this new bulb. For maximum output use the heavy duty wiring harness . Fits up to 07.

Universal Light / Accessory Switch

The universal light switch will allow you to control your headlight for stealth mode on the trail and more importantly, allows your bike to send full voltage to the starter.

By turning the headlight off, full voltage can be sent to the starter resulting in longer starter life and more spark to ignition giving you quicker, hotter starts. Switch can be mounted next to mirror or our preferred location is mounted next to the risers to help eliminate accidential switching while riding. Note: This is a universal switch, splicing off the hot feed wire to OEM light switch is required. Light switch is not needed if you already have the KLR650 European Light Switch.

Cigar Lighter/Power Port Outlet

BBP chrome voltmeter is a higher grade meter. Shows 11-15 volts and reads in 1/2 volt increments. 2 1/8" long by 1 1/4" wide and 1/2" tall. Has shock resistant 3M backing pad. Just peel and stick. Wire to any keyed 12 volt source. Has fused hot wire. Plenty of wire supplied with meter.

High Output Lighting Stator

High-output stator produces 280 watts of pure power. More than enough for accessories and lights. The stock stator puts out 14 volts and 14 amps (max) which equals only 196 watts @ 8000 rpm. At idle and slower speeds the average output is only about 150 watts and less. Barely enough to operate a stock KLR. The new high-output stator will furnish you with more power at slow speed than the stock stator puts out at 8000 rpm. No weak batteries after a long ride. No dim lights at slower speeds. Turn Signals with Running Lights

Fits the 07 and earlier KLR's. Allows you to operate your front turn signal as well as running lights. Just wire running lights into your headlight or dash lights hot wire. Will work with the non-USA headlight switch. New lights are better match to your headlight shape.

Lights can be installed on the rear to give you added safety; just wire running light to your taillight hot wire and wire blinkers as usual. Same light will fit any location. Sold as each.

From the 1960s through the 1990s, small two-stroke motorcycles were popular worldwide, partly as a result of the East German Walter Kaaden's engine work in the 1950s, later acquired by Suzuki via stolen plans supplied by MZ rider Ernst Degner, who defected to the West on 13 September 1961 after retiring from the 125cc Swedish Grand Prix at Kristianstad.

Harley-Davidson (HD) in the U.S. at the time suffered from the same problems as the European firms, but its unique product range, American tariff laws and nationalism-driven customer loyalty allowed it to survive. One alleged flaw, however, was retaining the characteristic HD 45° engine vee-angle, which causes excess vibration as well as the loping HD sound.
